“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything.” Plato
I was trained as a music therapist with piano as my primary instrument, and then I fell in love with the harp. Since then, I have taught harp lessons to students of all ages privately and in group settings.
The healing power of music is evident in the hospital workshop for cancer patients I have facilitated for twenty years. It is thrilling to help people find connection and learn to make their own music.
I am proud of my commitment and involvements in my community through sharing the harp's beauty for a wide range of nonprofits and charities.
When I am not playing or teaching harp, I like to run around with my 4 grandchildren or jam with friends.
Solo harp is lovely, and harp is especially enchanting in companionship with my friends on violin, flute, or cello and in larger ensembles with a variety of different instruments.
I have performed in all different combinations of instrumentation for hundreds of weddings, receptions, memorials, theater productions, and other special events.
